America Sailing Club a DBA of Solutions4, LLC  This club has, under many names for many years, been an enjoyment to sailors of varied levels. It has enhanced the experience by offering charters with training from beginner to sea captain.  

   We are a club that charters sailboats that are in the 5 to 25 years seasoned range.  They are monohull ar catamaran sailboats. The club boats vary from seasoned sailboats, brand new, others may be fully retrofitted and re-commissioned. The Club has benefited owners in helping support the expense of dock fees, insurance, and maintenance. Our goal is to provide many sailboats for charter ranging from 22’ to 52’.

    Unlike many of the competitors who only want boats that are in perfect shape and/or under 5 years old we prefer to allow our members the savings by chartering seasoned boats. Service and repairs can be overseen, by the club, at the owners expense. We help bring an owner’s sailboat to a charter qualified acceptance, at a more reasonable rates. Our club also offers the owner the ability to keep the boat where they want; whether behind their home at a dock or in a marina of their choice.

    Our purpose is making sailing enjoyable, providing group sails, day sails and training. We endeavor to continue to keep the fleet upgraded and in good shape.  The boat buddy’s have experience in checking out the boats, and qualifications of the members. Some “boat buddy’s” will be the owners of the boats.  Others will have varied experience and well qualified sailors having the experience to troubleshoot then turn problems over to qualified repair facilities and communicate back to the owners and club administration.

    When our members come to us with their qualifications we will offer suggestions of the type of boat to charter. The club makes sure, through the checkout process, that they are indeed qualified to accept the responsibility of the boat they sail.  Many members own, or have owned, boats in other areas and show respect for sailing another members boat.  Additionally since the boat buddy’s may either be the owner or an experienced sailor they will checkout the club member, to the boat that they are chartering. This helps to verify quality of experience.  We have many times recommended, based on the club member’s experience, that the “boat buddy” go with the charter for at least 1/2 to full day to verify that all is well and they are ready to care for our fleet boat.

    Our boat buddies have a vested interest in the upkeep of the boats because they are permitted, without charge to them, to sail the boats that they care for thus giving everyone a vested interest. Plus they may from time to time receive an income from the owner for services rendered.

    We realize that caring for the boats, as well as the people in our club, is what will make us successful. Join us and make sailing fun for all!
